However you train and whatever you do, do it hard. 100% or not at all. Don’t procrastinate.

Only you will know if you’re cheating yourself. Embrace the struggle. Nothing worthwhile ever comes easy. With sport as with everything, you get out what you put in. It’s going to hurt but get used to it. Pain is temporary but Hardist is for life.

Be critical. Avoid the easy answers. Think for yourself. Don’t listen to the voices of doubt. Your mind is stronger than you think and it will get you further than your body alone.

Whining won’t make anything better. For you or anyone around you. Suck it up and grind it out. It’s not meant to be easy. Life is better on the other side of the struggle.

Regardless of age, sex, skin colour, religious or political beliefs, race, background, job, income, wealth, fame or obscurity being a Hardist is the ultimate endeavour. You earn the right to wear Hardist gear and so have others like you. Show them your respect and be gracious in return for theirs.

Choose the difficult option every day, or someone else will choose it for you. Ignore those who would put you down. Set your goals and stay the course. Take responsibility for your successes and your failures. If it was easy, everyone would be doing it.
